While working at GrandArmy, I filmed a handcrafted motion title card for August Night rooted in classic analog techniques.

The final piece reveals the physical construction behind each of the six scenes it’s built from, resulting in a live-action motion logo that feels intimate and nostalgic — like the still air and quiet atmosphere of an August night.

A series of acrylic scenes were hand-painted on plexiglass, then captured in-camera and composited using traditional animation methods. My focus was on translating the tactile quality of the paintings
